I got my start as a music producer at an early age when my brother and I discovered a tape recording the previous owner had left in a Fostex 4 track recorder our dad purchased from a local music store. It was our first experience hearing what a song sounded like while it was being created. We marveled at the ability to "mix" it however we wanted. We even figured out a way to add to it. This discovery lead to a deep appreciation for the art of recording and a life-long love of making music.

Around the same time, I started doing live theater. This experience culminated into a love of performing. I picked up the drums at age 15 and went on to play in multiple groups as both a drummer and a front man, playing a circuit of hot spots throughout the midwest until relocating to Nashville in 1996.

Bend Room Studio is a lifelong dream of having a full set of music production capabilities at my disposal; and the skills to put it to good use for myself and others with something creative to say to the world.
